Welcome to our 8th installment on Volcano Bay Water Theme Park coming soon to Universal Orlando Resort. It has been a couple of weeks so there are lots of changes to highlight in this update.

To start things off, we look at Krakatau Mountain where more siding has been added and in the distance you can see more slide details and pieces going into place:

To the left of this area, we see the wave pool, and just beyond that the beginnings of a new slide out trough for possibly the see through body slide Ko’okiri Body Plunge:

Over on the other side of the mountain from our vantage point, we see the water coaster is coming along nicely with one section heading into possibly a tunnel. We can also see the water coaster will go through Krakatau Mountain in one portion (2nd picture, green slide pieces):

We can also see a roof and loading station area is coming into form with what could be an elevator shaft to the ride:

Overall, the water coaster is looking great and looks to be a thrilling experience:

But what’s that in the foreground area coming into form with lots of centralized black pipes and other supports on the rise? As we predicted in an earlier update, this looks to be where Runamukka Reef, the three-story water playground will go. In the concept art picture, we can sorta see the complex hidden in the background potentially:

Runamukka Reef is part of River Village, which is also home to the now progressing Honu nearby. As you can see since our last update, more pieces have been added to the frame we showed you a couple of updates ago:

With the half-pipe section on the frame looking complete, extra pieces are waiting on the ground to be put in place to complete the slide:
