There’s an ocean’s worth of changes now happening weekly at Universal’s new water park Volcano Bay!
First up an update on that steel structure for Honu, we showed you last week:
It has now been bolted and put into place, and even cooler to see at the add the slide covering pieces to it:
More pieces are waiting to be put into place as we can see from all the nearby vacant support footers and some more crates labeled “TN WAVE”:
Also, nearby we notice a splash pool coming into place for Ika Moana and Honu:
Over at Krakatau Mountain some of the brown facade pieces have begun getting covered in concrete:
At the base, not much has changed at the wave pool other than pieces being stored in it:
Our lazy or action river trough now has some very colorful red paint or seal being applied under the trio of slides it crosses under:
On the other end of the trough, a miniature overpass, maybe a pathway is being constructed:
These footers closer to the freeway continue to sit empty:
But possibly not for long as there are tons of slide pieces sitting in the distance:
These buildings we’ve been keeping up on have the beginnings of a roof:
Closing out this update with a view of the water coaster which hasn’t made much flume work progress since out last update, but looks like it could be about to with several pieces nearby:
We also notice more of the station/ loading area coming into form at this time including a roof structure:
With another update and visit to the site in the books we, as always, can’t wait to go back! Be sure to check out our previous updates!
