Volcano Bay Waterpark Construction Update #23 ~ Universal Orlando Resort

Our general theme of this week’s video seems to be trees trees and more trees; as lots of foliage has been planted all across the future water theme park:

Keeping with the theme of trees, we can see them all over property, including hiding some of those cabanas we’ve been showing you

Some new cabanas or something of similar structure has now sprung up new Maku and Puihi:

Nearby, we can see a strange rock form has been put in. WE get a nice look at this from the Turkey Lake Rd. angle. This would seem to line up with theme of the area to match the 4 slide complex:

This week one building has seen a new vinyl frame go up:

Over at the entrance area, vinyl has been completed on the main entrance building. Also, we continue to see work and yes more foliage around this area as well:

The peak of Krakatau mountain is now free of scaffolding and looks great!

Some other finer detail like more moss, and a floating style rock are also revealed by the lack of scaffolding:

Up on the capsule platform, we see more work taking place but no apparent signs of progress. Most likely they are testing a ride system that we can not see from our available angles:

Down below the mystery path going into the Volcano is still getting newer details. Just behind that we can see more shells for rock-work being installed:

Speaking of shells, we can see more stacked on top of the lazy river “cave” as work continues on that:

With that work taking place so close to the in progress Runnamukka Reef, tarps have been placed on some of that to protect it from the work. Also at the developing kids splash area, we see couple more new slide and details springing up all the time:
