As February fades, we are left with a very productive month at Universal Orlando.
Starting at Islands of Adventure
The stand is in the process of being completely reworked to offer more food options and have a more user-friendly set-up.
Making our way on into the park,
The Incredible Hulk track has now made its way over the queue building.
The work should be turning to the lagoon area of the attraction very soon as the reformatting work has all but concluded on the infrastructure there.
The finished project will deliver an awe-inspiring attraction. The kind that you just stand there and reflect up on, like this guy.
We are looking forward to seeing and hearing the incredible Bruce Banner come back to life.
Another attraction we are greatly looking forward to is Skull Island: Reign of Kong.
Kong is almost ready to take his reign over Islands.
On one of our recent visits, the creative team was testing the large entry doors.

Here you can see the inner door that lead to the show building. The inner doors serves the purpose of sealing the building from the outdoor climate.
Some pieces of the ride control system (RCS) have also started to pop up around the site. These RF modules allow the ride vehicle to communicate with RCS.
The last touches of landscaping are now also coming into place.
The resort also released more details about the finished product of the attraction.
Next door, Jurassic Park River Adventure is down for annual raptor check-ups.
While the raptors are all accounted for, crews are working hard on refurbishing the rock-work around the attraction.
Next door, at Universal Studios
Continuing work at the former Disaster site has left almost an empty lot, so that a Furious attraction may be raised from the ground up.
And at the former Twister attraction, it looks as if Jimmy Fallon sent a tornado to clean out a path for his future attraction.
Last month we reported that the building had been gutted, however it seems that the crews did not stop there. The only remains of the former attraction appears to be a few, but not all, of the exterior walls. This leaves a somewhat “L” facade/building structure remaining.
This month we are also finally able to say Hello to our favorite new shopping experience at the Studios.
The combination Hello Kitty and Betty Boop store has opened near the front of the park.
In case you are curious, those are some tasty Hello Kitty snacks.
Mardi Gras is in full swing at Universal. This month the concert series featured Hunter Hayes, Diana Ross, Barenaked Ladies and Nate Ruess.
Fall Out Boy concluded the month’s lineup in front of record-breaking crowds on the 27th of the month. The lineup for march includes:
March 5– Kool & the Gang
March 12– The Fray
March 13– Adam Lambert
March 19– Shawn Mendes
March 20– 3 Doors Down
March 26– REO Speedwagon
As with most February’s in past, The one day ticket price did raise by $3 for a one park admission and by eight for the park to park ticket.
There is a universe of fun out there, go explore it.
