Summer Lives Here: A Summer of Dollywood Memories
Dollywood kicks off another exciting summer of family fun with new entertainment, longer park hours and nightly fireworks.
Now until August 7th Summer Lives at Dollywood as the park stays open until 10 p.m. nightly ending each night with Dolly’s Nights of Many Colors, a spectacular synchronized fireworks show which paints a colorful canvas across the Smoky Mountain sky.
The park also adds two new entertainment offerings to the already spectacular line-up.
Brad Ross’ Unbelievable Magic Show. The ward-winning illusionist takes the Dollywood stage from June 11- July 10. The show is an “inspirational journey into a world of fun and magic where anything is possible.” During the show, we find the magic in everyday items through illusions, comedy and audience interaction.
Chris Perondi’s Stunt Dog Experience returns to Dollywood with more of his talented animal antics. These performing pooches, who are all rescues from shelters nationwide, create eye-popping tricks and all around dog-gone good times.
Along with new entertainment, longer hours and fireworks, Dollywood also has some of the best food in any park. In that tradition, Dollywood adds even more food to help you celebrate the summer including macaroni & cheese with various toppings, pretzel dogs, banana split funnel cakes and frozen chocolate-dipped bananas.
And of course, no summer event at a theme parks would be complete without roller coasters at night. This is a great chance to ride Dollywood’s great line up of coasters in the dark. I highly recommend both Wild Eagle and Thunderhead at night.
