Happy fall everyone, even though it doesn’t feel like that in Florida yet, here’s a brief recap of the month’s happenings at the SeaWorld Orlando properties!
First up, just a few days before this post we brought you extensive coverage of all the additions coming to all the SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment Parks. Included in that were quite a few announcements affecting the Orlando property and here’s a quick rundown of those:
Kraken will be receiving more than just a VR treatment but a digital reality experience with audio added to the headset; it will be optional and efficient so you can choose whether to use it or not:
The event line-up for 2017 will bring the popular Seven Seas Food Festival to Orlando and the event will include old favorites from both Viva La Musica and Bands Brew and BBQ. The Seven Seas Food Festival will span 14 weekend starting in mid February:
Here’s a looks at the events at SeaWorld in 2017:
Also in the realm of special events a reminder Rudolph and friends will be featured in the park’s already spectacular Christmas Celebration this year:
SeaFire Grill’s patio space will be expanded and enhanced to bring the all new FlameCraft Bar to the Waterfront area of the park. We have also heard that bayside pathway, normally only open for events, will wrap around and connect to the waterfront area to add ease to park flow:
Here’s a look at the current area we feel the bar will go but stay tuned for adjustments as work begins:
Just around the corner from all that action, the dolphin nursery will be getting a massive and much-needed overhaul to allow a personal and educational experience for guests. We already love it just from the concept pictures:
Here’s a look at the current state of Dolphin Nursery:
Over at Aquatica we’ve heard that the Pass-member Pavilion will be next to the Banana Beach Cookout and will offer a personal concierge, free coke beverages, and even free sunscreen. Expect this to open in time for the waterpark season and even before Easter:
Though we don’t know much yet we have learned that Nautilus Theater, next to Mako, will also receive a massive overhaul and debut a new show around memorial day weekend:
Finally, in the new announcements we got a glimpse of the all new summer celebration which includes a parade and guest interactive street celebration, Electric Ocean:
Moving on to cute animals, we have 2 great stories to bring you!
First, earlier in the month, Discovery Cove Celebrated the birth of 5 dolphin calves at the park and they are just too cute not enjoy!
Second, the Flamingos at SeaWorld were put into the fall spirit but didn’t quite know what to make of their new habitat additions!
Pass Members! Be sure to book your Christmas Celebration seating packages in October for a 30% off discount! Then meeting Rudolph won’t be the only highlight of your visit!
The park is pretty much set-up for the amazingly fun Halloween Spooktacular. The event runs weekends October 1-30 and is included with park admission!
