SeaWorld Orlando Happenings ~ November 2016

SeaWorld - Logo

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! SeaWorld Orlando in the past month has been turning into holiday theme park central. There isn’t much to share going on around the park outside of the holidays.

First up and most important;y to loyal SeaWorld patrons like us, the park has given us the gift of mimes again! The mimes have returned for Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas show. The show itself shows that fun still exists in the park and leaves you feeling very jolly:

Over in the Bayside Lagoon, the tress for Sea of Trees have been fully installed:

At night, these come to life in a beautiful synchronous harmony:

This year a famous reindeer and some friends have come to town and the Christmas Village at SeaWorld Orlando:

Even the train set has signs of Santa’s favorite reindeer:

There is a lot to see in the village and Rudolph’s ChristmasTown, check out the video below to see more:

With the welcoming of Rudolph, the Polar Express will not be making at stop at SeaWorld this year. This leaves the Wild arctic area looking a little more normal than previous years. Personally we prefer the newer addition as Polar Express had gotten a little boring for most people:

With that change we also see that Santa is now doing meet and greets in The Terrace near the Pass Member Lounge:

On one final holiday note, if you’re a pass member be sure to pick up your free pass member ornament anytime throughout the month of December! Here’s a look this year’s ornament that Michael picked up:

Other pass member highlights include:

  • 20% off food and drinks on the event pathway
  • 10% off Santa’s Fireside Feast
  • 10% off reserved show seating packages
  • 20% off Wild Animals Up-Close Tour through 12/18
  • 50% off guests tickets

In other news, at IAAPA this past month the company unveiled some of its ride vehicles for 2017 attractions. While the attractions aren’t coming to Orlando, they are still pretty to cool to see!

We enjoy the addition of Rudolph but we are disappointed that polar express is gone. Actually most people we talk to with kids don’t find it boring.

Agreed no polar express means sea world Christmas not close to being as good
