RailBlazer Announced For California’s Great America

Today California’s Great America announced their 15th coaster in park history RailBlazer. It will be a single rail coaster built by Rocky Mountain Construction. This will be the first of its kind on the west coast.  It features 8 passenger trains that allow more dynamic turns and an unobstructed view of the ground.

Some of the features on this coaster are:

  • 106 Feet Tall
  • 90 Degree Drop
  • 1,800 Feet of Track
  • Speeds of 52mph
  • 3 Inversions
  • 45 Degree Lift Hill
  • Silent Anti Rollback Lift Hill System

The theming on this project looks incredible. Riders will dive through a ravine tunnel. Included in the ride and the queue includes a natural waterway, rocky surroundings, and a trailhead marquee sign.  This project seems like its going to be a great addition to the park and we know many more great things are on their way. Take a look at some more of the amazing concept art below.
