Welcome to our 20th update on SeaWorld’s newest addition. Lots of details have been added all around Shark Wreck Reef since last week’s update.
First as we enter the area, we see even more details being added to the Shark Wreck Reef sign:
A quick look behind the sign shows us wiring waiting to be connected that will likely be power to light up the sign in this beautiful new realm:
Right next to this is another piece of themeing that seems to have a speaker now attached to it which will hopefully play some nice, new area music:
Moving on into the reef now, we find more details being added near the Shark Encounter archway.
We also see the panini shop signs have been taken down and will likely be added to the new themeing. If you look closely, you can see on the top where the new sign could be added:
Here’s the same shot just a week ago:
Just to the left of this area is an exciting new site to the area. Walls have partially come down around the exit area gift shop revealing all the hard and detailed work being put in on the area. We also notice yet another blue themeing overhead:
Taking a closer look at the rock-work though, we see some holes still in a few places:
This is most likely for some cool sharks to be added to it later on. Below we see these sharks in the concept art:
Remember the little area we showed you last week seen here:
We now see it has developed quite a bit into a caricature and face painting booth with some neat themeing:
Out by the main lagoon, we find some additional buoys floating on the outside of the fence and these look to be permanent most likely to help keep the flamingo paddle-boats out of the ride area:
A quick check on the entrance and queue area from above shows us lots of concrete progress being made. Also from above we notice some concrete work on the main lagoon side of the pathway, possibly to make for a wider path:
