Trains are cycling, many are getting excited, but there is still much to be done before 6/10 when Mako will officially opened. So what’s been happening since our last update? Let’s dive in!
First up, I made a little snippet so you can hear the Mako roar through the main lagoon area:
Speaking of the main lagoon we can now see the water level begging to rise even more and further inland, possibly even to the point where the park will begin to make it look complete now:
At the entrance area we find the shipwreck themeing mostly covered in a plastic tarp and from the sky we can sorta see some base concrete being carved into place around its base:
Further in, we can see more work being done on the maze I can only guess is the queue. This includes more wooden posts being added and more concrete being poured into place:
Speaking of new pathways and concrete it looks like several areas of Shark Wreck Reef have been marked for replacement:
Behind our most recently added walls we see that clearing has most finished and the beginning of something else:
You may have noticed something else in that picture, a new sign with menu for Sharks Underwater Grill:
Here’s a close up of the menu:
More themeing in the area has also emerged and from looking at the tops of the signs we can only expect to see more soon but so far this is looking great!
Looking at the concepts once again we see we can expect some sort of archway for the Shark Encounter attraction and possibly a seating area behind our current walls:
Closing out, we notice speakers along the track for spieling instruction and safety:
Miss a post, you miss a lot! Be sure to check out our Mako page with all our posts!
