Welcome to the 12th installment of Mako construction update from WildGravity Travels. In this update, we bring you some shots of what been going on around the area that will be called Shark Wreck Reef. As you may recall, in our 10th update we were on site as the last piece of track was put in place. The park released their photos with some cool up close looks of the same installation process:
Back to this week’s update coming from inside the park we start with some cool signage/theming reveals including the area greeting sign:
We have also seen the addition of a new Shark Encounter Sign:
Near Shark’s Underwater Grill, some more themed “wreckage” has been installed, could we soon see a newer looking sign for the restaurant:
Next up we share some more exciting walls have come down around a track support in front of the Panini Bistro, we can get a better look at the gray area of the support and start to wait for themeing to be added!
Taking a look at the entrance now we see more structure has been added to the building and the addition of lighting fixtures (small domes on metal structure):
On the track area just above workers have been busy installing netting on the track. This will be so if someone’s loose articles somehow make it on the ride and fall out they won’t injure a guest below:
Wrapping up, on the waterside area some people have doubted it, but I feel a flood coming:
Taking a closer look we see what looks to be the beginning of a permanent wall and as you saw above crews have been slowing letting some water back into the area:
How far will the water rise? Stay tuned to find out! Check out all our previous updates to see where how the coaster has progressed! From dirt to open, WildGravity Travels has you covered and will always be there for SeaWorld!
