Mako Construction Update #11 ~ SeaWorld Orlando

Welcome to a special Mako construction update! All the picture below were shared to us from Andy at Theme Parks &  Travels and he has been gracious enough to allow us to share them with our followers! He recently had a chance to fly over SeaWorld’s newest coaster and below are some of the highlights!

First up we see a nice wide-angle approach with the coaster in the distance:

As we get a little closer we can see an angle similar to the one available on SkyTower but still very different:

Turning to a different wide-angle now we can see a lot more of the completed circuit here:

A couple of shots give you real appreciation and concept of the full layout of the coaster:

Taking a more straight down look at some elements we start with a really cool shot featuring the top of the lift hill; 200 ft. in the air but here with appearance of being just feet away:

After leaving the lift and experiencing the 1st drop, riders will get a chance to experience this high banked turn:

To close out our update we share the Hammerhead (not to be confused with helix) turn around element, which we highlighted late last week as the final track piece was put into place. This angle really shows off the element which is the 4th time I know that it is featured in a B&M coaster:
