LEGOLAND Florida Brick Or Treat Review
This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit LEGOLAND Florida for their annual Brick or Treat event. This event is included with park admission which is always great to hear as that is not always the case with events at other parks. Brick or Treat runs on the remaining Saturdays and Sundays this month as well as on Halloween.
One of the awesome things about this event for kids is that they have the opportunity to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume. I saw tons of awesome costumes that kids were wearing. One thing that I also noticed is that LEGOLAND sells costumes at the park for anyone who may have forgotten theirs at home.
One of the big highlights for many kids is the opportunity to trick-or-treat at the park. The park has a nicely decorated trail set up near The Kidz Bop Stadium to MINILAND USA. It seemed to be a huge hit with kids and an opportunity for them to show off their Halloween costumes.
New this year is The Groovin’ Graveyard show in the Wells Fargo 4d Theater. This was a great new show. It featured some great talent and was a little spooky to get in the Halloween Spirt. It seemed that kids of all ages were enjoying the show, however I would recommended it for kids of a little older age. The show was dark and had some loud noises but other than that was not scary. It was something that I feel both kids and parents will enjoy.
Back in MINILAND USA there is a LEGO Skeleton Scavenger Hunt. Kids can look around for hidden skeleton bones. There is even a chance to win a prize pack from the park! It gives kids and their families the chance to bond while exploring the great layout and models of this area of the park.
Kids will also be excited to learn that there are many unique Halloween LEGO characters that they will have the opportunity to meet. This includes: LEGO Mummy, LEGO Witch, and LEGO Lord Vampyre. These are a great opportunity to get a picture of the kids dressed up meeting some awesome characters.
The park also has many great festive photo ops set up around the park. These are just a few of the many you can find in the park.
The park also has many unique LEGO building stations set up for the kids. These are scttered around the park and include things such as: “Bigsy Bricksy” Spider Build, LEGO Mosaic, and a LEGO Cobra. Look out for signs like this around the park to find the stations or check the event guide.
These are just some of the many exciting things happening at the park for the kids of all ages. At 8pm on event nights except on Halloween the park even does a special fireworks show at the Kidz Bop Stadium.
Also, don’t forget all the great rides from around the park!
LEGOLAND’s Brick or Treat event is a great choice for children. It is included with daytime admission which is great as it allows you to not only experience the event, but the wonderful park as well. Kids will also be excited to hear that the LEGOLAND Waterpark is open on weekends in October this year. It was extremely hot out this past weekend and I saw many people enjoying the water.
With the event also taking place during the day and early evening it is a great choice for families with younger kids. Overall Brick or Treat is an excellent event for kids that continues to grow and improve each year. Highly suggest making a trip out to this event it is fun for the whole family!
