Disney Springs Construction Update ~ January 2017

It has been awhile since we just took a look around Disney Springs and my how far we have come! Below our video of the newer things we’ve been seeing:

Starting off at Planet Hollywood Observatory expected to open very soon, we see lots of work. Walls around the main entrance doors have come down and we’ve even heard previews have taken place. Overall the building is looking as bland as we expected with that new gray dome color scheme:

Characters in Flight recently received a new balloon,  without characters, leading to the question of a possible name change.

What does the future hold for Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba?  Many feel that it isn’t good, with rumors and speculation going in all directions. The most extreme being a closure without re-opening. The show popularity has been in decline since new acts and changes have been installed. We will have to wait and see what becomes of this once great venue:

Probably the most anticipated venue is the Edison. On one end of the site we see lots of details, and on the other we see lots of work left to be done:

Finally taking a look at Paddlefish, we gave you a 1st look on Twitter at the paddle wheel returning. A little more recent is the addition of lettering on the entry side. Both of these photos are from the newer @PaddlefishORL Twitter account:
