Welcome to our 2nd and uplifting update on Busch Gardens’ snake coaster, Cobra’s Curse.  WGT correspondent Ray, visited the park on 2/7 to find lots of great color and features that have been added since our last update:

Different levels and view of the lift give us new things to see with each picture, including how two separate lift tracks (notice the bend in the vertical lifts) will act as counter weight to the other and allow for more efficient operation:

The maintenance stairs on the side of the tower now appear to be complete:

With one final angle of this tower we bring you a view that will soon see guests dropping into the ride from the top of the lift:

With lots of focus on the lift, not much other track work has progressed around the site:

But work on the tunnel dive under the train tracks continues:

Speaking of the train, riding the train gives us some great up close looks at the beautiful color schemes employed on this new coaster:

Also getting a new paint job is nearby Montu looking like new:

Not much appears to have progressed on the station and vehicle storage area:

If you haven’t been already be sure to check out the model at the front of the park showing what Cobra’s Curse will really look like when all this exciting construction is over:
