Christmas at LEGOLAND Florida

I recently had the opportunity to visit LEGOLAND Florida to get a preview of their premium upgrade Christmas offerings at the park.

Their annual Christmas Bricktacular event that is available to all with regular admission begins December 17th, however they provide two different opportunities for you to get in the Christmas spirit early.

The first of these experiences is the Lego Santa’s Breakfast. This breakfast is held at the beautiful historic Magnolia Mansion that was originally part of Cypress Gardens before the land became LEGOLAND Florida.

The breakfast begins with your family getting a complementary photo with Lego Santa, that later will be delivered to you while enjoying breakfast. You than are welcome to enjoy the buffet stocked with many of your breakfast favorites that include: waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, frittata, and bread pudding. Coffee, milk, and juice is also available.

One of the highlights of the breakfast besides meeting Lego Santa, is having Mrs. Clause, Lego Toy Santa Solider, and Lego Elf, coming around to interact with you while you enjoy breakfast. You also get wonderful views of the gardens and lake from your table. There are even legos on the table to play with.

In addition to everything previously mentioned, each child receives a Lego Minifigure and each family also receives a Lego ornament. Breakfast is served from 9am until 10am. This allows you to enter the park before it opens for the day. You are free to leave breakfast to enjoy the park anytime after 9:30am. This allows you to enjoy select attractions that are usually only open for resort guests and annual pass-holders before the park opens to the public.

The second of the experiences that you can choose to partake in is the Lego Santa’s Christmas Workshop. I felt this was a very fun and unique opportunity. This takes place in the afternoon, which gives you the option to choose to do one or both of the extra holiday offerings.

The workshop begins with your family getting your photo taken with Lego Santa and Lego Toy Soldier, which you will be given a printed copy of later. You are then welcome to enjoy delicious Christmas cookies along with hot chocolate and bottled water.

The highlight of the event though is getting to build a mini Lego Santa with the help of a Master Model Builder.

If you are unfamiliar with who Master Model Builders are, they are the ones that design, build, and maintain all of the amazing Lego sets that you see around LEGOLAND.

The Master Builder will help you step by step to build your mini Santa figure, that you get to take home with you when finished. It is a very neat and unique opportunity to learn about legos and build with a Master Model Builder. They even give you a little box to take Santa home in along with your photo print.

Both The Lego Santa’s Breakfast and the Lego Santa’s Christmas Workshop are additional experiences in addition to your regular park admission. The experiences each run $35 per person plus tax or $31.50 for annual passholders. The experiences run only on select dates through the end of the year, beginning this Saturday November 26th. Space is limited so book early. Also remember these are just extra Christmas events that LEGOLAND offers in addition to all of their other holiday offerings at their annual Christmas Bricktacular event.
