Beach Retreat Resort Tour ~ LEGOLAND Florida

At Legoland Florida, we recently had a chance to take in a preview of the new resort “Beach Retreat”

First up a video tour of some of the resort’s main highlights:

Drive -up check-in is offered here and that means after checking in online you can stop at the plaza and go straight to your bungalow:

First up on our photo tour,  a look at the bungalows. Each cove is home to multiple bungalows, each bungalow is 2 separate rooms. Also, each cove feature a small playground area as well:

The main room once you enter is home to the parents bed, TV, and other amenities like a mini fridge and coffee maker:

Inside another smaller room, that sleeps up to 5, we find a bunk bed room with trundle pull-out bed for the kids. This room is also home to a small bin of Duplo LEGO blocks for tons of in room fun:

As you can see the LEGO themeing is everywhere throughout your room

The main building on the property is the Lighthouse:

Inside The Lighthouse we find:

  • Palm Tree Traders: home to some LEGO gifts and other quick needs for a night in a hotel:
  • Brick’s Beach Bar: serving drinks and lunch from an outside window and a small bar inside:

Here’s a look at the drink menu and the 3-featured drinks:

  • Sandy’s Castle Restaurant: serving a resort included breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet for a reasonable price:

Over at the pool, we find some cool foam LEGO bricks that float and can be assembled used in the pool:

At night, it’s time to light The Lighthouse with a special ceremony in the pool area:

As you can see, no detail is spared around the resort and it really offers that immersion into the LEGO brand. As an extra bonus guests of Beach Retreat or the LEGOLAND Hotel receive early entry into LEGOLAND Florida, to get a jump-start on all the brick-tastic fun inside! A free shuttle is also provided from Beach Retreat to the park:

Room rates start at $135/night and can be booked through the park website.
