Updated: A Sea of Flavor and Latin Beats arrive at SeaWorld’s Viva la Música

On select Saturdays in April and May SeaWorld Orlando sizzles and dances to some of the hottest Hispanic artists in the industry.

Viva la Música returns to the park featuring upbeat concerts from internationally renowned stars of reggaeton, salsa, merengue.

The event kicks off on April 16 with entertainer Jerry Rivera headlining the fiesta.

The event will extend in to May with event dates on May 7 & 14.

The concerts are included with park admission; however guests wishing to add to their experience may buy floor seating just feet away from the stage for $15.

The party kicks off at noon each Saturday on the Bayside pathway, with concerts starting at 3 p.m. at Bayside Stadium.

SeaWorld Viva La Musica Pathway Activities

The festival also features many authentic Latin cuisine choices developed by SeaWorld’s Executive Chef Hector Colon on Bayside pathway; and other eateries around the park. New this year dishes include:

  • Hamburguesa Cubana a hamburger made with a chorizo, ground beef and pork patty
  • Piononos – Sweet plantain stuffed with traditional seasoned ground beef
  • Morcilla – Traditional Latin American blood sausage
  • Sorullitos – Caribbean-style fried polenta sticks
  • Frituras de camarones – Skewered shrimp fritters with fried plantains
  • Lechón asado – Traditional roaster pork rubbed with Caribbean spices

As well as the returning favorites of:

  • Piraguas – shaved ice with tropical flavors
  • Bacalaítos – fried salted codfish pancakes
  • Pinchos  – skewered grilled meat with fried plantains
  • Tripletas – a hearty sandwich made with roast pork, chicken, steak and cheese topped with potato sticks and a special sauce.

Pastries, desserts, beers, margaritas, mojitos, cuba libres, wine and a special house-made sparkling red sangria are also available throughout the event pathway.

Guests can purchase a Food Sampler Package for $25 that allows them to try five samples of select dishes from the event as well as receive 15% off other food purchases on the event pathway. Guest may also combine the two offers for an even closer front row seat for $45, while still enjoying the sampler package.

While at the event, guests can immerse themselves in the Latin culture at small shops stationed with original merchandise inspired by the Latin culture and created by local artisans and artists including handmade oil paintings, organic jewelry and much more. You can also take a stroll through the Viva la Música garden, providing a more relaxing environment for the entire family, but still just steps away from the main fiesta where you can find seating and Domino tables. All this while in a Festive Latin Atmosphere that is alive with bright colors, Caribbean décor, dance floors and DJs spinning live music hits.
