Epcot during its annual Food & Wine festival is always a very popular destination for both visitors and locals. This year we all have more reasons to be excited for the 22nd annual festival, that is because once again we will see a record number of dates and marketplaces. The festival has expanded to include dates spanning over 4 months, which runs daily from August 31st through November 13th. That means this year the festival runs a whopping 75 days, which is 13 more than what we saw last year.
Since this is Epcot’s 35th Anniversary, Food & Wine Festival is celebrating with a whopping 35 different marketplaces. Disney has let us know that we can expect the Spain and India marketplaces to return this year. Along with new marketplaces comes new dishes. From Spain we can expect to see a charcuterie in a cone. India gives us spicy Korma Chicken with cucumber-tomato salad, almonds, cashews and warm naan bread as well as a pistachio cardamom cake with a dollop of chocolate coconut mousse as a sweet treat. We will also see the addition of crispy chicken with griddled cornbread and red-eye gravy from a fan favorite Farm Fresh Marketplace.
In addition to all of the wonderful food and beverage options visitors can expect many other additional offerings. Additional information is still to come, however we can expect the always popular:
